EcoDevshilt NGO is implementing environmental protection and waste management initiatives as part of the project “Income Generation for Nomadic Herding Communities through Sustainable Tourism in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve – Khuvsgul Lake.
As part of this initiative, a training titled “WASTE MANAGEMENT & ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION” was successfully conducted for all staff members of Ashihai Travel LLC tourist camp.
The training covered the following topics:
Understanding and classification of waste
Relevant laws and regulations
Environmental pollution caused by waste
Methods of waste segregation and reduction
Recycling of reusable resources
Climate change and its environmental impact
Khuvsgul Lake as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve
Sustainable Development Goals
Ashihai Travel LLC is actively supporting environmentally friendly and responsible tourism, taking concrete steps in waste management. Their efforts to protect nature and implement proper waste practices make a strong positive contribution to sustainable tourism development in the Khuvsgul region.
