“UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Khuvsgul Lake – Income Generation for Nomadic Herding Communities through Sustainable Tourism” project to support the livelihoods of local communities. As part of this initiative, the project is working to establish “Three-Season Greenhouse” and provide training to equip local residents with the knowledge and skills needed to manage a greenhouse.
On March 31 and April 1, 2025, the project team organized a training session for local residents interested in collaboratively running a greenhouse through a cooperative. The session covered key topics such as how to form a cooperative, its legal framework, structure, regulations, operational planning, and the long-term benefits of cooperative membership.
