Project Outcomes: Enhancing Ecosystem Conservation Through Waste Management in Hovsgol National Park, Mongolia (2020–2024)

The project implemented from September 2020 to August 2024, focused on sustainable waste management to support environmentally friendly tourism while enhancing the economic, ecological, and cultural well-being of communities along the western shore of Lake Hovsgol. Key efforts included reducing waste pollution, promoting recycling, educating local residents and tourists, and fostering stakeholder collaboration to ensure long-term sustainability in the region.
