Within the framework of our project, we successfully organized a round table meeting with locals of
Khatgal village on October 14, 2021. During this meeting we have introduced our project, discussed how
we would like to cooperate with private and government organizations, what kind of issues the locals
are facing currently in relation with waste management in Hatgal village, Huvsgul State Special
Protected Area, Huvsgul Lake National Park, what will be the solutions to solve those issues and many
other questions and answers.
In the round table meeting participated private and public organizations such as: The 69 th Fire and
Rescue Unit of Hatgal village, Environmental Inspector of Police Department of Khatgal Village,
Secondary School of Hatgal vilaage, Khatgal’s Women Union, Uran Dush Kindergarten, Weather of
Hatgal, Sarlagiin Saikhan Khishig Cooperative, Misheel Camp, Representatives of Zero Waste Khatgal
2030.
