“Zero Waste Khuvsgul” conference was held today in Murun because Khuvsgul Province announced 2023 as the “Year of Visiting Khuvsgul”. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry, Secretariat, enterprises and NGOs operating in Khuvsgul, as well as citizens of all 24 soums of Khuvsgul Province. This event was a successful example to brought together the government, citizens, and private sectors.
ecoDevshilt NGO introduced the project and presented the work done before and the work to be done. In addition, our Project manager Shuree was one of the panelist at at panel discussion with representatives of the public and private sectors that have similar activities
Fact: “We have been organized Mongolia Sunrise to Sunset trail marathon for 20 years. With the proceeds of the marathon, a total of 5,379 tons of abandoned waste was collected and cleaned from the specially protected areas of Khuvsgul National Park.
